Our company prefers on-premise hosting for security and control. We already have a server infrastructure in place.

Can we install Fleet Stack there instead of using your cloud environment? Are there any special system requirements or setup guides to ensure a smooth deployment?

Absolutely, Fleet Stack is designed to be self-hosted, so you can install it on your local server if you prefer. Here’s what you need to know:

1.System Requirements

  • CPU: At least a 2-core processor (more for larger fleets)
  • RAM: 6GB minimum recommended
  • Storage: 100GB to start, can be expanded as needed
  • OS: Windows or Linux (software is compatible for both OS)

2.Installation Process

  • Download the Installer: Visit our official website or request the installer from our support team.
  • Follow the Setup Wizard: It’s largely automated, but you’ll specify your database info, server paths, and initial admin account details.
  • Configure Security: Make sure to set up firewalls, SSL certificates, and strong credentials—particularly important for on-premise deployments.

3.Online Documentation & Video Tutorials

  • We provide step-by-step guides and video walkthroughs. These resources will show you how to install the software, connect devices, and manage user permissions.

4.Free Trial & Support

  • Even on your local server, you can try Fleet Stack at no cost before committing to a license.
  • If you run into any hiccups, our support team is ready to help you troubleshoot—remotely and at no extra charge.

That sounds great! We’ll proceed with the setup on our local server. If we decide to move to a different machine later, can we just transfer our license, or is it locked to one server?

Great question! Our license is not locked to a single server. You can migrate Fleet Stack to another machine if you need to upgrade or change your infrastructure. The license can also be moved. Our team is happy to assist you with the migration if you need any help.
