XRB 28 GPS Tracker

The XRB 28 reports to FleetStack over the XRB28 protocol on server port 5180. Point the tracker at your FleetStack host and that port, and its position and status messages decode straight into the platform.

Product Details

The XRB 28 is listed in the FleetStack device catalogue as a XRB28-protocol tracker. Because FleetStack already runs a XRB28 decoder on port 5180, the XRB 28 needs no custom integration work — set the tracker server host and port, set the SIM APN, and the device appears in live GPS tracking as soon as it sends its first position report.

XRB28 is the only protocol this model speaks in the current FleetStack port map, and port 5180 is reserved for it. The device port list carries the port for every supported protocol, and the GPS command list carries the SMS and GPRS commands used to point a tracker at a new server.

Once it is reporting, XRB 28 telemetry drives geofencing, trip management, route management, driver behavior scoring, maintenance reminders and the alert center. The same data is available through the REST API if you are feeding it into your own systems, and FleetStack can be deployed as white-label GPS tracking software under your own brand.

Set the tracker server host to your FleetStack host and its port to 5180, then set the SIM APN for your network — usually over SMS configuration. The GPS command list carries the SMS and GPRS commands, the video tutorials cover the platform side, and technical support can help commission a device.

Which protocol does the XRB 28 use?

The XRB 28 uses the XRB28 protocol, which FleetStack decodes on port 5180. Every protocol FleetStack supports is listed on the device port list.

What can I do with XRB 28 data in FleetStack?

Add the XRB 28 to FleetStack

FleetStack already decodes the XRB28 protocol on port 5180, so the XRB 28 can be onboarded without custom development. View pricing, book a demo to see the platform with your own hardware, or contact us for help with the device configuration.
